Service impact : VMware ESXi 8.0 Free is no longer available for installation on our RISE-S dedicated servers (powered by AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processors) as of February 5, 2026.
Service improvement : As Broadcom has not certified Ryzen 7 9700X processors as compatible with ESXi, we are aligning our offerings with the vendor's official compatibility matrix.
Existing installations are not affected by this change.
